If you need some last minute Halloween crafts to do with your kiddos on Halloween, this video is for you. Most supplies are already in your craft closet or can easily be substituted with something that you already have on hand. BE CREATIVE! The first craft is the Easy Spider Craft: I used white construction paper and drew a spider web with crayon in the corner. Next, I cut out a black circle for the spider's body and 8 strips of paper for legs. I then let Zakk paste on the circle and googly eyes. I did accordion folds on each of the leg strips and had him glue on each leg. To finish it off, I added "HAPPY HALLOWEEN" and framed it after taking the glass out of an 8x10 frame, so the legs would stick hang over. Next is this, DIY Halloween Garland. Using the templates below, cut out two ghosts and two jack o' lanterns. NOTE: You will need to print two jack o' lanterns scaled down to 50% so it will be about the same size as the ghosts when you hang it up. I used the templates and traced them onto white card stock and cut them out (you can also use construction paper, or even thin cardboard, like that from a cereal box). I then let the kids paste orange tissue squares and faces on the pumpkins and cotton balls on the ghosts (we laid down the googly eyes first before, but you can also do it after on top of the cotton balls). I then made a hole punch in the top of each piece and hung it with ribbon. I did have to put a little tape behind each hole after it was hung up to prevent them from spinning backwards. It came out super cute and this would be perfect to do the night before or even on Halloween as a preschool craft. HALLOWEEN GARLAND TEMPLATES:
